This update contains a lot of additional system features, new guild cards, new squad cards, and much more. The event also includes new armor like a Faux Kelbi and Aptonoth head, mug shaped dual blades, rabbit ears, and layered armor which becomes the player's default clothing when they wear it. Poogie even gets a costume that makes it look like a Kulu-Ya-Ku egg.

As is the case with each seasonal festival, there are new outfits to unlock, like the Handler which comes in two variants. There is also a new outfit for Palicoes themed after Pukei-Pukei. Gathering Hubs will be completely redecorated to reflect a more festive, carnival-type feel, and Hunters will have a bunch of new food types to try. This update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne also includes the upcoming Astera/Seliana seasonal event, Sizzling Spice Fest.
